  1. Hi mkfr19! Thank you so much for the follow! I really appreciate it. I absolutely love this doodle. There is something about it that gives off a serene, whimsical look, yet still containing something darker and deeper inside. Besides that, I love peacocks, and the yellow coloring you’ve done is gorgeous 🙂 I’m particularly envious about the eye, because whenever I try to draw large eyes, they end up like blobs. I’m really fascinated by your work, especially because I’ve tried to doodle for a very long time (more to pass the time during lectures than waiting for food, though 🙂 and for some reason, I’m just not a doodler. But we both try to capture the same idea of making something visually beautiful. It would be amazing if you could check out my blog, where I show my graphic design passion: cupcakewriter.wordpress.com and tell me what you think. Thank you so much, and I hope you have a wonderful day! -Cupcake_Writer

    1. Thanks for the generous compliment! I think your site is beautiful. I will take another look and see if I can give any kind of critique although, to be fair, I have a very basic understanding of graphic design (only took one class in it). I think you shouldn’t worry too much about the outcome when it comes to doodling though. I rarely have an idea what my picture will become when I start. It’s an activity that makes me feel very present. Also, I love your analysis of the peacock. Thanks for taking the time.

    2. Just realized that I didn’t press reply to your comment. I had written back to you in the thread instead. Sorry! I was new to blogging and didn’t know.
